Even a brilliant career can hide the darkest of stories. Winner of both the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through plenty of effort and immense amount of patience. Jones was the sole child in a family of five, and grew up in extreme poverty. Jones' mother moved constantly and stayed for a while in the basement of her church. Jones' nomadic lifestyle led her to switch schools each year, until she reached she reached high school. Jones was forced to move away from her mother at Theodore Roosevelt School to pursue her love of track. Jones won an award called the Gatorade track and field Athlete of the Year award while at the high school level. As a student cellist, Jones was also part of the school's orchestra. Jones was one of the best hurdlers in her age group in her first year of the college. Jones was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. She was also one of the participants of the runner-up team in the relay 100-meter event. Jones has been the NCAA Champion indoor hurdler in both the year 2003 as well as 2014. Jones began her track career in 2005 after she finished her university studies. Jones won two events, her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track races that same year.

Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa with her siblings and parents, moved from Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand when she was in her teens. Brandt's talent was recognized in Auckland by local Director of casting Brandt. Brandt was cast as a part of Naevia in part of the Starz show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In collaboration with the producers Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi she captivated audiences with her performance and became one of the shows biggest actors. Brandt is set to appear alongside Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the six-episode limited Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. In the July 2023 Netflix adult animated comedy Captain Fall, Brandt stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa on the 2nd of December, 1981. She is a renowned New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt along with the remainder of her family moved into Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. Her first job was in Auckland as a retailer, and was then promoted to an IT manager consultant. Lesley's career began with a few model projects. She then appeared in numerous commercials. She completed her acting major in 2008 and continued to study the methods of Meisner. Lesley's very first prominent acting role was on the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt is a supporting actor on the New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. Then she was in the Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life which is based upon the anecdotal town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Later, she played the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
