Kelly Reilly was born in 1977. Her performance in the play After Miss Julie, at the Donmar Theatre in London was the catalyst for her becoming an international star. She received a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award nod in the category of Best Actress for 2003. Aged 26 she's the youngest person to ever be nominated for the award. Walter Smith, her father was a market researcher working in the field of computer technology as well as Lora Smith, her mother was a psychotherapist. Courtney's parents separated at the age of seven. Courtney was able to spend time between each of them at different levels. Jennifer is her elder sister is a business executive. She was a student at Menlo-Atherton High school in Atherton California. She completed her studies at Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley California in 1985. She also performed with Ensemble Theater Company.
